Fertility for Men

g1.png

One third of couples trying to conceive find their challenge lies with the man’s fertility.  Problems may be caused by hereditary factors, illness, past injury or lifestyle.  Any man with concerns should have a sperm analysis test with possible hormone assessment and chromosome tests to follow.

Sperm test results can show problems in the number of sperm, their form or motility or semen abnormalities.  New sperm are constantly being produced over a 72-day cycle so considerable changes can occur in successive test results.

An individualised course of acupuncture support, diet and changes to lifestyle can all play a key part in improved fertility.  Clinical studies on acupuncture and male infertility are available.
