Supervision is significant in assisting and supporting acupuncturists in their work, professional relationships and personal lives.  It considers their needs and concerns in a confidential forum and suits newly qualified as well as experienced practitioners.
  
Practitioners may choose to look at clinical and diagnostic issues, building a practice or working with other health professionals.   The patient/practitioner relationship can be challenging; supervision helps to look at what and why we find some aspects of our work difficult.  By talking and reflecting, supervision can refresh, inspire, inform and satisfy our professional needs.

Julia completed the Supervision for Acupuncturists course run by Isobel Cosgrove in 2000 and has participated in an ongoing supervision group for over 20 years.
