Who’s it for?

Acupuncture is for everyone; people come to it at all stages of life, and for many different reasons. Maybe you are dealing with a specific health concern, or simply feel that something isn’t quite right and want to take a more proactive approach to your wellbeing.

One of the strengths of acupuncture is that treatment is always tailored to you, taking into account your age, health, lifestyle, and what you’re hoping to get from it. Whether you’re young or older, new to acupuncture or returning to it, the approach is shaped around what feels appropriate and manageable for you.

Some people choose acupuncture as their main form of support, while others use it alongside conventional medical care. I’m always happy to work in a way that complements any treatment you’re already receiving.

I work with a wide range of clients, including children, and people at different life stages, such as later life, pregnancy and those navigating fertility issues.

You don’t need to be sure exactly what’s wrong or whether acupuncture is the right option before getting in touch. Do contact me, and we can talk it through.

What it can help with

  • A large number of people come for help with pain, whether it’s something recent or something that’s been ongoing for a while.

This might include back or neck pain, shoulder tension, joint discomfort, headaches, or migraines. Treatment focuses on easing tension, improving movement, and supporting the body’s own healing processes over time.

  • If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or constantly ‘on edge’, you’re not alone. Many people I see are dealing with stress that’s affecting both their mind and body.

Acupuncture can offer a space to slow down, helping to settle the nervous system and support a greater sense of calm. Over time, this can also have an impact on related issues such as sleep, tension, and energy levels.

  • Sleep problems can show up in different ways, difficulty falling asleep, waking in the night, or simply not feeling rested.

In treatment, I look at what might be contributing to this, whether that’s stress, physical discomfort, or other underlying patterns, and work gently to support more settled, restorative sleep.

  • Digestive symptoms such as bloating, discomfort, reflux, or irregular bowel habits can have a real impact on daily life.

Acupuncture can be used to support the digestive system and help regulate how it functions, while also considering factors like stress and diet that may be playing a role.

  • Male fertility can play a role more often than people expect. Some men come after test results, while others want to support their health while trying to conceive.

I look at your overall wellbeing, including stress, sleep, and lifestyle, rather than focusing on sperm health alone. Treatment is tailored to you and can be used on its own or alongside fertility care.

My approach is steady and realistic, focusing on supporting your health over time.

  • I work with women at different stages of life, including support with menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy and menopause.

This might involve preparing for conception, supporting you alongside IVF or other treatment, or helping you feel more comfortable during pregnancy. Treatment is always adapted carefully to your stage and individual needs.

  • I also work with children and teenagers, adapting treatment so it feels safe, gentle, and appropriate for their age.

Parents often come with concerns such as sleep, anxiety, digestion, or general wellbeing. I take time to make sure both you and your child feel comfortable throughout.

  • Some people come for support with recurring illnesses, allergies, or respiratory symptoms.

Treatment may help by supporting the body’s overall resilience and addressing patterns that seem to be contributing to repeated issues.

  • Acupuncture is sometimes used as part of a wider approach to more complex or long-term conditions, including neurological symptoms.

In these cases, my role is to offer supportive care, helping to manage symptoms where possible and improve overall quality of life alongside any medical treatment you’re receiving.
